KVCAP Emergency COVID-19 Program

The Kennebec Valley Community Action Program (KVCAP) has received emergency donations and other funds to provide assistance to people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic who reside in Kennebec and Somerset counties.

Assistance is provided on a case-by-case basis and recipients must be income eligible (based on income for the past 30 days). Financial support is limited and will continue until the funds are depleted. We can assist with items such as food, gas cards, utility payments, and other basic needs. We have an internal diaper program for people in need of diapers. Our team is also available to provide referrals to additional area resources.

To learn more or to apply for KVCAP’s COVID-19 Emergency Funds, Somerset residents should contact Dana at 859-2545 or danah@kvcap.org. Kennebec residents should contact Michael at 859-1547 or mwillis@kvcap.org.

People in need of rental assistance must visit MaineHousing’s website at www.mainehousing.org and complete the online application for their COVID-19 Rental Relief Program. Households without internet access can contact KVCAP at 859-1637 or 859-1604 for assistance completing the application.
