KVCAP serves Kennebec, Somerset, Lincoln and Sagadahoc counties through the Winter Energy Relief program. Winter Energy Relief is a program that provides a one time assistance payment of $800 towards heating fuel directly to your fuel provider. This assistance could be for oil, propane, kerosene, wood pellets, wood, coal or bio bricks. It can also be used towards electricity if your heating system requires electricity to run. This program is available to anyone who meets income requirements upon availability of funding. Subsidized with heat included households are not eligible for this program. Apply by July 3, 2023.
