Program Administrative Assistant


KVCAP’s Health & Social Services Program is looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual who enjoys working with a variety of people performing administrative duties. The position is for 32 hours per week and is located in the Waterville office. This person provides administrative support for all staff in the Health & Social Services Program including word processing and data base duties, Maintains Excel spreadsheets to assist in tracking program expenses; prepares and submits purchase orders and vouchers, contract billings and acts as the liaison between the Finance and the Health & Social Services Departments. Picks up and distributes incoming mail, prepares outgoing mail for the Waterville office, including bulk mailings as needed. Requirements: Five years related experience including reception and recordkeeping, strong computer knowledge in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Publisher and Access; proficiency with a variety of office machines including a calculator; Possess accurate typing skills, excellent written communication skills; ability to multi-task and work accurately with attention to details a must; ability to communicate positively with internal and external customers; strictly adheres to confidentiality of customer information. Experience with providing clerical support to a large, diverse staff. Starting wage for the position is $11.77 per hours. Child & Family Services


1. Teachers - Immediate
Full-Day/Full-Year with Infant/Toddlers in Skowhegan

Responsibilities include classroom management, implementing individualized curriculum reflective of the culture of the community through a team teaching approach, and providing support to parents.

Requirements: Degree in Early Care & Education (ECE Bachelor’s preferred), and coursework/cross training in human services/family systems. Must be able to meet requirements of agency & State Child Care Licensing regulations for background checks and physical exams. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) and documentation skills, critical thinking and group management skills.


2. Teacher / Assistant Teacher / Family Services – for August 2010
Many of these openings will be in Waterville’s new Educare facility and some will
be in Somerset County early care and education settings

Degree in Early Care & Education (ECE Bachelor’s preferred) for infant/toddler and preschool classrooms (081 Certification required for preschool Teachers), and coursework/cross training in human services/family systems.
